Our search for Weekend Warriors is over, so who are the winners?
Extreme North Wales recently joined forces with Mazeno Clothing, giving you the chance to win one of their t-shirts and even influence your very own design.
We received many fantastic images; representing a variety of disciplines and have now reviewed your entries with the team at Mazeno Clothing. Below are the five images that we feel capture what it means to be a “Weekend Warrior”!
Winner – Jamie Hewitt @0rihe
We chose Jamie’s artistic mountain biking photo for its interesting perspective and because it really captures an action moment.
Jamie will now be given the opportunity to work with Mazeno’s design team, creating an exclusive t-shirt that he will name. It will then be printed and sold as a product on the Mazeno Clothing website! He will also receive a free t-shirt printed with his design and it will be featured on our Twitter accounts.
But that’s not all! The four runners below will each receive a free Mazeno t-shirt of their choice.
Runner Up – Sarah Homolka @sparklylatina
Sarah’s photo of her taking a break on “The Cannon” has been selected as one of the runners up. Tryfan’s North Ridge is a favourite with Weekend Warriors.
Runner Up – Shem Geraint @shemKSW
Shem submitted this photo of him getting tubed, while surfing a North Wales reef at sunset! He also wins a Mazeno t-shirt of his choice from their website.
Runner Up – Luke Rigby @Luke_A_Rigby
This photo of Luke shows him half way up his first climb in Glenridding in the Lake District. Luke’s friend Tom (also pictured) is organising three treks to Nepal in October, to help the local Sherpa and guides get work after last year’s earthquake.
Runner Up – Mike Raine @mikerraine
Mike Raine enjoying some decent conditions while scrambling Cneifion Arete.
Congratulations to our winner and runners up and thank you to everyone who entered. If you were not lucky enough to win, keep an eye out, as we have more exciting competitions on the way!
