MOAR MOAR MOAR . . . . .the new player on the ebike scene

Every once in a while a product will get announced that makes us stop, gather around a monitor and say “WOW! we need one of those!!”
A week or two ago we stumbled across the MOAR ebike. A fantastic looking, practical, folding, electric fat bike.

MOAR is designed to strike a perfect balance between every-day practicality, raw power, and pure adrenaline filled fun.

The MOAR eBike’s fat tires and full suspension make for precise handling, incredible grip, and a smooth ride over even the roughest terrain. With a unique unibody rack, integrated safety lighting, and up to 85 miles of range, MOAR is perfect for your commute or shopping runs.

Having spoken with the guys over at MOAR they tell us that initial interest in their bikes has been great.
Initially there will be a 500w and a beastly 750w version in the United States. We worried then that our humble little North Wales might never see a MOAR bike due to UK and EU limits on ebikes. (Uk is limited to motors at 200w and Eu is limited to 250w), however having spoken with the guys at MOAR they do indeed have plans to launch a Eu model of 250w. We sooooo want to get our hands on that 750w version but the styling and features of this bike still make us want to get out on it at some point even if it has to be the 250w version.

All MOAR bikes are made from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, guaranteed not to rust. The battery is IP65 splash-proof, and the frame folds in half for easy stowing or storage. Our 7 or 9 speed Shimano gears and 5 levels of Pedal Assist let you tailor your riding effort exactly how you want it, and we offer the only unibody rear rack on the market, perfect for saddle bags, groceries, or briefcases.

Whatever watt mid-drive motor you opt for, the bikes are built to climb the steepest hills, glide over potholes, and conquer the roughest terrain. The 48 volt battery puts out up to 30% more power and efficiency than the 36 volt batteries offered by the competition, and is hardwired to all the lighting and electronics through waterproof wiring hidden away in the frame.
We asked more for a few more details and here’s what they had to say.

More Standard Features than anyone else out there.

Our standard features would be premium upgrades on a majority of other manufacturers bikes, if available at all.

  •  6061-T6 aluminum frame – light, strong, no corrosion
  •  26’X4” fat tires
  • Full suspension, front and rear
  • 500w rear hub motor or 750w mid-drive motor
  • 48v 10ah lithium battery or higher capacity in an aluminum case
  • Built in Unibody rear rack
  • Single hand removable battery for easy off-bike charging
  • Loud electric horn
  • Safety lighting system integrated, turn signal, brake lights
  • Optional LED projection headlights X2, each over 1,000 lumens
  • Foldable frame
  • In frame waterproof wiring, no messy wires to get tangled up

“The whole system runs from one battery, meaning you won’t have to worry about charging extra batteries on everything you add later on. These standard features plus the convenience and simplicity of a single system alone will make us head and shoulder above most other ebikes on the market, including ones that costs twice as much. We consider our bike value for the money. And our bike puts a smile on everyone who have ridden one. Having said that, we’ll have 3 different models of bike topping out with a 750w mid drive motor. They will all be US$2K, and less with an early bird discount.
