To support the Year of Adventure 2016 visitwales.com are launching a pop-up art installation in six of Wales’ most EPIC locations. Here at extremenorthwales.com we’re asking for you to submit your selfies against the gigantic EPIC mirrored letters and tell us exactly what your EPIC is.  EPIC will be placed in some of Wales’ most breath-taking spots for one week at a time, mirroring the beauty all around it.

We want to see you in action, embracing all that North Wales has on offer and doing what our wonderful Wales does best.

Pen y Gwryd, Nant Gwynant in Snowdonia hosted the first week of EPIC. Boasting endless valleys, breath taking lakes and exhilarating walking and hiking opportunities, there’s no better place to start.

Each Epic letter measuring a gigantic 4 meters high and 11 meters wide and weighing a staggering 350kg was then transported to our very own Oneplanet Adventure at Llandegla.  Oneplanet Adventure showcases 50km’s of carefully graded and way marked mountain biking, walking and running trails, there is something for everyone at Oneplanet Adventure and visitors to the Centre were thrilled to be a part of such an exciting campaign.

Well done visitWales.com on highlighting the world class facilities and landscapes Wales has to offer.  This is indeed our Year of Adventure.  Lets see what your adventure looks like.   Where to next… If you see the sign on your travels, take a picture and share it with us using the #extremenorthwales #GwladGwlad and #FindYourEpic hashtags or send it to us at info@extremenorthwales.com
